Guest Speaker : Robert Hyde
Robert will talk about “The Hydes and their Buildings”, a family business located in Bassendean. In 1925 the company HS Hyde and Son was established by Henry Staniford Hyde. Over the next four generations, the company has continued to be a family operated concern, building quality housing and commercial buildings in the district. The shops “Hyde Buildings” located in Old Perth Road Bassendean are a fine example of their work.
